Welcome to In Thy Light. By downloading or using the In Thy Light mobile application (“App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the App
  • The App is for personal, non-commercial use only.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or publicly display any content from the App without written permission.
  • You agree not to use the App for unlawful or harmful purposes.
2. Subscription & Payments
  • Access to meditation content requires a paid subscription.
  • Subscriptions are processed securely through Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.
  • We do not process or store payment information.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s app store account settings.
  • Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Refunds, if available, are processed directly through Apple or Google according to their policies.

3. Content Ownership
  • All meditations, series, artwork, images, and text within the App are the intellectual property of JTVanderLouw LLC.
  • You may not record, share, distribute, screenshot, or reproduce content outside the App without written permission.
  • The App is designed for individual use only; sharing a subscription or redistributing content is prohibited.
4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following services to function:

  • RevenueCat for subscription management
  • Vimeo for video streaming
  • Firebase Firestore for content delivery

These services may process technical information needed to operate the App.

5. Health & Wellness Disclaimer
  • The meditations and spiritual content in the App are for general well-being and educational purposes only.
  • The App does not provide medical or psychological advice and is not a substitute for professional care.
  • Consult a physician before beginning any breathwork or meditation practice if you have health concerns.
6. Limitation of Liability
  • The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for:
    • technical issues or service interruptions
    • data loss
    • device malfunction
    • results or outcomes related to meditation or breathwork
  • Your use of the App is at your own risk.
7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • use the App only in lawful ways
  • maintain control of your device and subscription
  • avoid sharing your subscription or bypassing paywall features
  • comply with all applicable local laws
8. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update:

  • the App
  • content
  • features
  • these Terms

Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you:

  • misuse the App
  • violate these Terms
  • attempt to bypass subscription requirements

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
